“Ragnarok” is a Norwegian-language fantasy drama series that premiered on Netflix in 2020.
Set in a small Norwegian town experiencing climate change, the series follows a group of teenagers who discover they are reincarnated Norse gods, and must awaken their powers to stop an impending apocalypse known as Ragnarok.
The series blends Norse mythology with modern environmental themes, and has been praised for its stunning visuals and engaging storyline. As of February 2023, two seasons have been released.
